Crystal + Josh’s Wilson Creek Winery Wedding was one of the most beautiful fall Temecula weddings I’ve ever photographed! This sweet couple found me through Facebook and I’m so thrilled I was able to be their Temecula wedding photographer!
Like a lot of couples I work with, these two were authentic and so joyful throughout the entire wedding day! They had a large wedding party (also a commonality) because when it comes to those standing beside you, you just can’t cut down easily! Their families were super involved throughout the day and you could see for both Crystal and Josh’s parents they couldn’t be more thrilled with their new daughter- and son-in-law!
Crystal and Josh chose September for their wedding at Wilson Creek. September is a lovely month to get married in Temecula, the vines are still lush and vibrant and temperatures are starting to drop!
The bride and groom started getting ready for the day at Wilson Creek’s wedding suites. One of my favorite parts about the suites is they are on the second floor, which gives access to a balcony. Since Wilson Creek is open to the public, this gives some privacy for the couple getting ready and the balcony is an awesome location for detail images and wedding party pictures!
As you can see Josh was all about good times and good vibes on the day 🙂
Crystal + Josh opted for a first look! This is something I always highly recommend for fall weddings or weddings taking place after the time change. They had a 6:00 PM ceremony on their wedding day and the sun was setting at 6:55 PM. Getting lots of wedding party, and family, photos done in advance gave us more time with just the two of them after the ceremony 🙂 But enough of that – just look how cute they are during their first look!
Isn’t Crystal absolute pin-up PERFECTION? She looked so, so stunning!
I adore the slightly-different but same-color look for bridesmaids dresses! Red is such a gorgeous color and all of Crystal’s bridesmaids looked STUN-NING!
Funny story on the H you see here! Josh ordered this as a surprise for Crystal to be placed at their ceremony site. He apparently received it and was hiding it for weeks before the wedding day. Crystal loved it!
There are a few different ceremony options at Wilson Creek, and Crystal + Josh chose the option directly in the vineyard, called Cabernet Hill. Absolutely love these views! Guests also walk through the vineyard to get to the ceremony space which really adds to the experience!
Listen, brides get the glory of an entrance most of the time, right? Grooms can make an entrance, too! I love how Josh brought along his mom, he was so excited to see guests as they walked down the aisle!
LOOOOOOOVE Crystal’s face here as she puts the ring on Josh 😄 “It’s official now!”
Right after the ceremony the light was SO GORGEOUS so we got right to wedding party photos!
I always ask for one image where the groomsmen lift the groom. Each group seems to have a different way of interpreting this 😆
Once we wrapped up on wedding party images I was able to spend about 20 minutes with Crystal and Josh in the best light of the day!
The reception was gorgeously decked out in red and white with gorgeous uplighting! I love Wilson Creek’s Champagne Ballroom, the chandeliers really add to the elegant feel!
Let’s get this party started!
Crystal + Josh parents chose to toast the couple as a group, which I loved!
Love the parent dances on a wedding day! Crystal was so sweet with her dad and Josh with his mom as well!
We ended the wedding coverage with some night portraits in the barrel room! I can’t say enough how lovely, fun and excited Crystal + Josh were their whole wedding day!
