Earlier this year, Amanda of Ivory & Lace Creative and I connected on Instagram. She had some unique styled shoot ideas and styled shoots are one of my favorite things! On a wedding, so often we have a limited time to shoot the details that the vendor team has worked so hard on for the day. It’s a lot of fun being part of the creative team of the shoot, and not only having a ton of time to shoot all the details, but see all the hard work that goes into the planning and set-up!
The creative genius behind this shoot was all Amanda! We connected on shoot ideas, and before I knew it, she was sending out the shoot itinerary.
Amanda stumbled upon this location in Jucumba Hot Springs as the inspiration for a Desert Luxury Styled Shoot. The rocks and exterior decor made a perfect backdrop for the outdoor set-ups as well as the model bride and groom. What you can’t see from the photos is how crazy windy it was that day! The majority of the time was spent setting things back up after they fell down, OR using double-stick tape to secure items. Major props to the models, especially the bride, because they really toughed it out in cold conditions!
I was honored to be part of this shoot, but I don’t mind saying it was 100% Amanda’s vision and work. If you’re in need of a Temecula wedding planner, she should be at the top of your list! I also recently did a little Q&A with her – take a look here!
