Riverside Family Photography

It’s hard to pin down my favorite part of being a wedding photographer, but pretty dang up there is getting to continue to work with some of my favorite couples as they grow their family! Such is the case with Anastasia and Adam, whom I’ve now had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session, wedding, maternity session, and in this case, Riverside family photography and maternity session!

We chose California Citrus State Historical Park for this session. Riverside has a number of great locations, and we loved the citrus trees as a backdrop for the session. Anastasia and Adam’s daughter had a blast running through the grove as well!

This sweet child was really not too interested in me! She sure was adorable, though! Fortunately because it was a blended maternity / family session it meant she could do some wandering around while I focused on images of Anastasia!

I just happened to have these little sparkly wands in my photography bag and listen…I’m never above bribing to get some images! She clutched these in her little hand the entire time!

I love this area of the park because of the beautiful cypress trees – they add a lovely architectural element! And the purple of Anastasia’s dress really POPPED off the background!
